How To Apply For Housing

Please contact a member of staff on 01803 863550 if you require any advice on housing. However, from 23 January 2010 Devon moves to a Choice Based Lettings system, more details can be found at www.southhams.gov.uk/20090722_dhc_leaflet_proof2.pdf

The Association does not have open waiting lists and therefore we do not take direct applications.

Other Housing Opportunities

The Association, in partnership with South Hams District Council are offering homes for rent at 80% of local market rents. These are local family homes purchased off the open market especially for people who would not normally have access to social housing. Rents in Totnes would typically be around £520 for 2 bed house or flat and up to £620 for a three bedroomed house. All properties are brought up to the association's lettings standard and are well maintained. We do not insist on a deposit 'up front', just that tenants pay one months advance rent. These properties are available for long term rental. Please contact Michelle Smith to register your interest or check your eligibility to rent under the SHIRE scheme.
